Along Missouri Route 5, a road cut provides a clear example of the uplift of the southern rim of the impact crater. The center of the impact is approximately 5 miles further north, but here is a clear, accessible example of its affects.

Do not park along Missouri Route 5 to visit this waymark. Please park on Olathe Road, just north of the rock cut.
