This is a small plaque set in concrete flat in the ground. It is set at the base of a flag pole at the southwest corner of the Baxter County Courthouse. Being flat on the ground it is difficult to see from a distance. I discovered it while visiting a larger multi-war memorial behind it. There are other plaques of the same sort at other corners of the courthouse. This place is rich in honor of veterans as are most courthouses.
