This is the campus of Hochschule Reutlingen - Reutlingen University located at Hohbuch in Reutlingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

With the support of the Württemberg Royal family, the responsible
town authorities and local industry a School of Weaving was founded
in 1855. The School was renamed in 1891, and became the Technical
College for Spinning, Weaving and Knitting.
Globalisation has always been a keyword! The School of Weaving and
its successor, the Technical College, slowly but surely established a
reputation for excellence in the fields of textile technology and training
which extended far beyond the Württemberg frontiers and eventually
reached international dimensions.
1908 – The Technical College receives state recognition and changes
its name once again to the State Technical College for the Textile
Industry.
1910 – Founding of the State Testing and Examination Authority for
Textiles in Reutlingen.
1921 Founding of the German Research Institutes for the Textile
Industry Reutlingen-Stuttgart which remained closely associated with
the Fachhochschule until 1973, when they moved to Denkendorf.
1967 – Mechanical Engineering is added to the State Technical College
for the Textile Industry
1971 – The Technical College receives official recognition as a
"Fachhochschule". In the Department of Business Studies, the first
course in International Business begins.
1975 - Work begins for the new buildings on the Hohbuch campus.
1977 - Move to the new Hohbuch campus facilities. The old buildings
in the centre of town have now been handed over to the Reutlingen
Police Force. Parts of the original equipment from the Weaving School
and other documentation have been placed in the Industrial Museum.
1979 - "Europäisches Studienprogramm für Betriebswirtschaft" (ESB),
with partner universities in Reims and London, enrols the first students.
1983 – Opening of the another new building on the Hohbuch campus
– today’s Building No. 2 - which is at present home to the School of
Applied Chemistry and the University Administration.
1984 – The first students are enrolled in the courses Automation
Technology and Business Information Science. Founding of the Export-
Akademie Baden-Württemberg at the Fachhochschule with a
postgraduate degree course in International Marketing.
1987 - Opening of Building 1 (Betriebshalle) for the technology
departments by the President of Baden-Württemberg, Dr. h.c. Lothar
Späth
1989 – Beginning of the degree course in Electronical Engineering.
2000 - Appointment of an independent University Supervisory Board
2002 - Publication of the University’s Structure- and Development
Plan
2003 – The new courses in Mechatronics and in Media and
Communications Information Technology enrol their first students.
In full accordance with European agreements, degree courses now
lead to the internationally recognised Bachelor and Master qualifications
2005 - Division of the University into three areas of competence and
