This farm gives new meaning to the term “Windmill Farm.” The first thing that catches the motorist’s eye is the collection of old windmills in the side yard. There is also a shoe tree and a variety of whimsical yard ornaments that make this place a fun stop.
Some of the brands of windmills include: Woodmanse Mfg. Co., Freeport, Illinois; the Aermotor, Chicago; Monitor, Evansville, Wisconsin; and Sears Champion. The collection can be seen on Hwy. 44 a few miles east of Dallas Center.
