This monument to the 41st Ohio Infantry is located on the east side of Brock Field, on Brotherton Rd, at the Chickamauga National Battlefield Park, Ft Oglethorpe, GA.

This monument to the 41st Ohio Infantry Regiment is in recognition of their service during the Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863.

A flared, polished commemorative marker with a relief of a uniformed Civil War soldier on the front. The soldier has a moustache and wears a cap, and stands grasping his rifle with his left hand at chest level, the stock resting by his foot. With his right hand he reaching into his cartridge pack on his right hip for ammunition. On the back of the marker is a bronze medallion of the State of Ohio seal. The marker is mounted upon a graduated, multi-tiere base.

Text on the rear of the monument:

Sept. 19th, 1863, this regiment occupied this position from 2:30 till 3:00 P.M., when it was relieved and ordered to the Rossville Road to replenish ammunition. At 4:30 P.M. was ordered to re-enforce Van Cleve, in the field south of the Brotherton House. Was engaged there and to the west of that position until 5:30 P.M., when the enemy having retired east of the Road., it at 6:00 P.M. rejoined its brigade near Poe House.

Sept. 20th, occupied position in first line of battle, east of Kelly Field, own right of monument of Battery F. 1st O.L.A., from daylight till 2:00 P.M., when it was relieved and ordered into position about 200 yards west of Kelly House, facing south. At 3:00 PM was ordered to Snodgrass Hill, where it re-enforced the 125th Ohio. Assisted in repulse of all subsequent assaults on that position. About 7:00 P.M. retired to Rossville.

No. engaged 360. Loss, Killed and mortally wounded 19: additional wounded 87: captured or missing 9, of whom six were also wounded: Total 115.
