The finale of "Goldeneye" was not filmed in Cuba but at the unique Arecibo Radio-telescope in Puerto Rico. Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) and Izabella Scorupco (Natalya Simonova) take a dramatic tumble down the Arecibo dish.

Near the finale of "Goldeneye", James Bond and Natalya Simonova find themselves under fire as they make their way along the rim of the Arecibo Radio-telescope. Trying to escape, they tumble together towards the drain at the bottom of the dish. At the bottom Simonova joins Bond. These scenes from the movie are captured in the two composite images. You will need to see the film to find out how it turns out.
Although the action is supposed to take place in Cuba, it was filmed on location at the Arecibo Radio Telescope in Puerto Rico. It's a fascinating place to visit.
