Marysvale is just chock full of history and outdoor recreation opportunities.
There is the Marysvale Historic Mining District with over 120 marked locations to visit. Brochures detailing these stops are available from local merchants but they were in the process of printing a new batch when I was in town, so I'll have to wait for a future trip.
The town is at one end of an extensive network of OHV/ATV trails traveling clear to Bryce Canyon to the south. The main Paiute Trail is over 275 miles long with side trails and offshoots totalling over 1000 additional miles. This small town is also convenient to fishing, hunting, hiking, and exploring old mine workings and ghost towns. Just be very careful and stay away from old mines themselves as they can kill you without a moment's notice.
