Massanutten Discovery Trail - George Washington National Forest VA - Self Guided Walks and Trails on Waymarking.com

The Discovery Trail is a .25 mile handicapped-accessible paved trail through the woods that explores the wonders of the forest including trees with leaves shaped like hearts and mittens, a rock with living skin and a millstone used for grinding grain. Interpretive signs guide the visitor through the discovery and exploration of some of Mother Nature's delights and surprises.

The trailhead is located at the parking lot to the old Massanutten Visitor Center. The Visitor Center is no longer opened, but parking and all trails are still available.
