This plaque honoring Terry L. May is on the north side of the ROTC building on the UCO campus. It is on the northeast corner of Broncho Lake.
The plaque is in a large rock, in a small courtyard with two benches and landscaping. Terry L. May's military service and contributions to UCO are detailed in the memorial.

Terry L. May
1945 - 2003
Dedicated in Memory of LTC May who served in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps for 22 years. He was awarded the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star. As Commander of UCO's Broncho Battalion from '85-89, he led the program into the top 25% in the nation for commissioning lieutenants. After retiring from active duty, LTC May remained at UCO as Asst. VP for Academic Affairs until retiring in '02. One of his most notable contributions was integrating the ROTC program into the university. His passion for veterans was reflected in his work as a columnist for the Edmond Sun. Remembered as a mentor, friend, family man, devoted husband, and "Gramps."
This memorial park was made possible through the generous contributions of his many friends at UCO and the Edmond community.
