On the George Town foreshore, on the island of Penang, is a semi-pryamidial, tourist attraction. Which is to say, there is an abstract sculpture, ~1 metre high, which consists of an apex truncated square pyramid, with a cone on top. This sculpture sits on a semi-circular dais, the diameter of which rests against the foreshore street. Around the circumference of the dais are a series of recessed tourist site plaques. This sculpture is readily visible up and down the street, not too far from the Victorian era town hall.
I could not find a plaque which discussed the nature of the sculpture, nor any other source of information. The sculpture as a whole looks just a little worn, so I expect it has been at this beach location, exposed to the elements, for a few decades.
