This mosaic tile mural is located at the I-90 eastbound rest stop just west of Blue Earth, MN. It is entitled “Settlement” and depicts a farmer in the early years of Minnesota’s history. Artist Donald Obernolte was assisted by Paula Gustafson and Mike Fraser. The artwork is mounted on a decorative slab facing the doors to the rest room building.
