Recently installed on the west side of City Hall is Bill and Mary Buchen’s “Prairie Bells”. Prairie Bells commemorates each year since Frisco’s founding in 1902. The conical lattice tower shimmers with dancing prismatic wind bells representing Frisco’s first 100 years and its bright future. Wind responsive vanes cast multi-colored reflections like darting butterflies. At the apex, a Wind Twister spirals upward, and at night the sculpture will be up lit.
