Kimbell Bay Park is a lovely park. A large, rolling grassed area wanders from the pool, to the tennis courts, to the baseball field and basketball court, to the playground, to the picnic pavilions and a walking trail allows you to spend a pleasant evening enjoying the scenery.
There are two pavilions which can be rented in blocks of time for family, club and church activities. A children's playground is available, and a half-court basketball area. Two tennis courts are well maintained, and a pool area can be found on the west side of the park. There is a water slide, wading pool, low diving board and a concession stand. Swim lessons are offered. The pool is open, Mon and Wed-Sat. from noon to 5PM, and Sun from 1-5PM. It is closed on Tuesdays.
