The Old Stone House is one of the oldest structures remaining in Washington, DC. It was inhabited by common people in the 18th century. The stones for the the Old Stone house came from local quarries, the surrounding region and some are old ballast stones from English sailing vessels.

The Old Stone House is part of the Rock Creek Park area of the District of columbia.
