The Springfield Republican is the areas major newspaper. It serves the lower Pioneer Valley - the City of Springfield and the surrounding metro area.
The Republican was founded in 1824 as a weekly paper and became a daily in 1844. Today a morning edition is published daily as well as a larger Sunday edition.
Forty years ago the same publishers produced three separate newspapers: the morning Union the evening News and the Sunday Republican. In the 1970's the Union and the News were combined to form a single morning newspaper - the Union-News. In 2001 the Union-News and Sunday Republican re-assumed the historical single name - The Republican.
The circulation for the Republican is about 63,000 copies.

This can be a picture of your GPSr in the foreground in only one of your many pictures, or if you're not too camera shy, put you or a team member in the picture. Maybe even buy a newspaper while they're still in business. They need all the help they can get. No picture, no new log. And no icon.
