Veterans Park is a large park in the western part of Tonawanda, close to the Niagara River. There are two large and three small picnic shelters to rent. All shelters have electrical outlets and grills. A permit is required from the city to use the shelters. The large shelters are $30 for residents/$80 non-residents and the small shelters for $15 residents/$20 non-residents. The use of horseshoes and volleyball nets are available also. The coordinates are for the entrance to the park.
There are several pieces of playground equipment for the kiddies to play on. Restrooms are conveniently located in the center of the park. Nearby are three baseball fields.
In 2003, a memorial was erected honoring veterans of all branches of the military from the City of Tonawanda.
