When this temple was dedicated it was a very exciting time for the saints in Minnesota. No more driving to Chicago to do temple work. Honestly though, our family really enjoyed out trips to Chicago. (Or as my kids say, "Chicago Baby!") This temple is built on land that the church owned for one of it's stake buildings in Oakdale, MN. This allows a lot of worshipping/church activities to take place all at one place. The saints in Minnesota truly feel blessed to have this building in our area. Thanks, Durde
