This marker honors the work done to build flood control barriers alongside the creek in the downtown area.

There is no date on the marker. The Park now has picnic areas, tennis courts, a swimming pool, bicycle paths, and lots of grass for relaxing. Many community events are now held here. Stone walls around the creek embankment for flood control, (and possibly the old poolhouse) are the projects accomplished by the WPA workers.
