This 1948 Memorial recognizes specific veterans of World War I and World War II.
Unfortunately, the poster of this Waymark can't read all the names on the photo of this Memorial...but the text reads:
"LEST WE FORGET
THIS MONUMENT STANDS
IN MEMORY OF THE GALLANT
MEN OF GLOBEVILLE WHO
SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES
IN WORLD WARS I AND II"
Globeville is the Denver neighborhood in which this monument stands---and used to be a city before being annexed.
