Yellow Smoke County Park has a little bit of everything to satisfy a multitude of interests. The campground itself has 61 camping sites, each with water and electrical hookups. A shower house provides flush toilets and showers, and a dump station is available on site. Each campsite is equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and spaces large enough for RV’s; tenting space is available as well. A basketball court and safe playground provide entertainment for the little ones, and fishing piers, one with handicapped accessibility, encourage one to try his/her luck at angling. Canoeing and boating (electric motors) are popular on the lake; a swimming beach and hiking trails offer more options for entertainment as well as a nature center a short distance away. The campground is open from mid-April through September.
