The east window is of 5-lights with 5-centred arch and panel tracery and is part of the Perpendicular period build of the chancel.

The overall sense is one of blue, but there are many other colours incorporated as well. It has pictures of saints, the coat-of-arms of the Henley/Peel family, biblical scenes and Christ in Glory giving his blessing.

In the chancel there are three other windows, on the south side. The first is yellow with purple tracery. It gives a wonderful sunny glow to the chancel, especially when the sun shines.

The second window is a memorial, a scene from Christ's Ministry with the quote:

'The Damsel is not dead but Sleepeth'

and was placed here

'In memory of Florence Mary eldest daughter of Anthony H. Henley, she died May 28th 1866 aged 18 years.'

Florence Mary was the daughter of Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock, and Julia Augusta Peel.
The Henley coat-of-arms has the blazon: On a blue field, a silver lion rampant, crowned gold, within a border of silver charged with eight torteaux (red roundels).
The Peel coat of arms has the blazon: A silver field, charged with three sheaves of arrows, branded red; and on a blue chief, a gold bee volant (flying).
The combined coat-of-arms shows the male line, Henley, on the left and the female line, Peel, on the right. The circlet above is that of a baron, plain silver-gilt, and has six "pearls" of which four are visible.
