This statue is located at the western side of Buda Castle, at the beginning of the Palace road.
The original statue was ordered by Gyula Gombos from the donations of military officers, it was made by Gyula Vastagh. The statue is set up in 1935, took place before the Military History Museum. It has been destroyed in 1945 in the WWII.
The material of the original statue was used to other purposes, so this statue is only a copy of the original.
