There is no plaque or other identifying information on the statue, however, a little research, and I found this information.
This statue was sculpted by Robert Tait McKenzie, a surgeon, physical educator, and teacher. Dr. McKenzie honed his skills as a sculptor by using sculptures to teach anatomy to his students. He was a personal friend of the Boy Scouts founder Sir Robert Baden-Powell.
