For his Eagle Project, Michael Flood planned the building of two kiosks that contains maps of the park identifying the location of 14 types of trees in the park. The kiosks have information on each of the 14 trees including the common name, scientific name, picture of the leaf and a description of the tree. The identified trees have a matching label nailed into the tree.

The signs were nailed into the trees with aluminum nails based on advice from a botanist and consideration of the safety of the visitors to the park.

The project took 241 hours to plan and complete the project at a cost of $548.38. The project was completed in December, 2010.

The project should provide years of enjoyment and educational opportunities for the park visitors.
