This site marks the location of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp at Devil's Lake. The CCC camp was started in 1934 and operated at the park until 1941. The CCC men did a lot of improvements to the park in their 7 years here. They built the park's headquarters building and two bathhouses. They also constructed campgrounds and improved the trais.
