The
Bugang River has won numerous national and international awards as the cleanest inland waterway in the Philippines.
This small pumping station provides clean water to this area of Antique Province which includes the villages of Malumpati, Santa Rosario, Guia and others. It is located just above the increasingly popular Malumpati Cold Spring recreation area with its wonderful swimming area. The headwaters of the Bugang River can be accessed by a trail that passes this facility.
