The Centurion Mk 5 AVRE 165 was used in the Gulf War of 1990-91. It has a crew of 4, uses a Rolls-Royce V-12 petrol engine and has one demolition gun.
The tank design was developed in the 1940s and was used by the AVRE - Assault Vehicle Royal Engineers in the Gulf War. Use was primarily for mine-clearing and attacking fortifications.
