On Saturday evening in June 24, 1995 personal railcar 810.061 carried 23 people (including driver) on railway line No. 261 "Svitavy - Ždárec u Skutce". Due to blunder of shunters in railway station Cachnov it happened that four fully loaded freight cars (123 metric tonnes) rode against the personal train. The runaway cars had travelled for almost five kilometres before they ploughed into the incoming train, and the speed was probably around 100 km/hr. 19 of 23 people were killed and just 4 passangers survived.
