As well as the formal garden there is a memorial plaque in remembrance of people of Bury who died during WW II.
There are benches in the garden where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Although fairly near to the town centre the garden is on the side of the church facing away from the centre, and so is surprisingly quiet.
The plaque is inscribed as follows
