The beacon has a crest with c.A.D.680 inscribed and a plaque which reads:

'THE BRIXWORTH MILLENNIUM BEACON

This Beacon was erected in December 1999 by the
Brixworth Millennium Committee.

The first lightings of this Beacon were at 7.45pm and
again at Midnight on December 31st 1999,
participating in the National Beacon Millennium
Celebrations.'
