Aspen is the best place in the country to celebrate the 4th of July. For some old-fashioned fun, plan a trip to Aspen in the summer – and bring your whole family! Enjoy some of the many events going on over the long weekend such as concerts, parades, picnics, and of course...fireworks!!!
A multitude of different events take place in Aspen over the 4th of July long weekend. Participate in a 5-mile race, watch a parade, listen to free live music, take in a skating exhibition, and see the amazing fireworks!
Past events have included:
-Boogie's Diner Buddy 5-Mile Race and One-Mile Family/Canine Walk Race
-Kids' Bicycle Decorating at Paepcke Park - helmets required for kiddos
-Annual "America's Birthday Carnival" - The Early Learning Center's kids' carnival takes place in Paepcke Park. It features games, a BBQ, silent auction, bake sale, and souvenirs.
-Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade - Takes place down Main St. A whole lot of fun for the whole family.
-AVSC Annual Community Picnic - In Koch Park, this event features a BBQ, kids' games, live entertainment and a beer garden.
