Early Baroque Capuchine church of St. Ludmila (Kostel Sv. Ludmily) is one of seven Roman Catholic churches in the town of churches and seat of Archdiocese - Litomerice. The church, administered by Litomerice parish office, is not used for regular but only for occasional worships.
Capuchine order acquired this delapidated dictrict of Litomerice after Thirty Years War and built here in years 1647-1678 convent building and finally in 1656 also this simple Baroque church. Church, a simple single nave steepleless prismatic structure with presbytery and front triagonal gable, is a work of master builder Jan Koch from Ústí nad Labem. The Baroque main altar with paintingof St. Ludmila is work of Tobias Pock from 1660. Church was recontructed in 1846. In front of church you can find sandstone statue of St. John of Nepomuk (ca 1729) and next to the statue is located wooden mission cross on stone pedestal (1840).
