Allah; God, the Nation and the King.
These are the three pillars of the kingdom of Morocco.
As night falls, a three-word, floodlit message illuminates the hill standing guard over the town.
Agadir City does not have many historic or cultural sites, but there is an old ruined fortress on a hill northwest of town that offers great views of the city and the bay. The area below the old fortress includes the remains of the historic center of Agadir, destroyed in an earthquake in 1960. La Médina d'Agadir, four kilometers south of the city, is an artificial Berber village with traditional displays and artisan workshops. There is also a small zoo in Agadir called Vallée des Oiseaux.
