One of the biggest windmills in Japan. Located in Eigenzan Park in Shunan, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

This windmill was modeled after one in Holland. It was dedicated as a symbol of friendship between the sister cities of Shunan and Delfzijl.
The windmill sits at the highest point in a large park within the city. It is open to the public, but the hours were not posted. On the second floor is a display of items from the Netherlands from the early 1900's.
There are signs (in Japanese) about the construction of the windmill and the dedication ceremony.
