This classic colonial building currently houses the museum of the Malaysian sultanate of Selangor, however, it was originally designed as a land and administrative office by the British during the colonial period. During World War Two the Japanese used the building as their administrative headquarters. After the war, and after independence, the building was used for a variety of admin purposes. It took on its present role in 2002.
The building is certainly worth a look. Well built, and now well maintained, it is a distinctive part of the ‘old’ part of the town of Klang.
