Klang is a small town, west of Kuala Lumpur. In the middle of 'old' Klang is a line of old buildings, two stories high, semi-derlict. Most contain shops of various types, but appear to be doing little business, however, as worn as they look now, when they were constructed these buildings were clearly of some importance. Atop most of these individual buildings is a date of construction.
I selected for inclusion here one of the older and interesting buildings, 1948, only three years after the end of the Second World War. What the buildings were used for back then, there is no indication. I do hope that these interesting looking pieces of architecture are eventually refurbished, and not demolished.
The building is located near the centre of Jalan Tengku Diaudin Rd, on the north side.
Year of construction: 1948
