Planted in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee this Wellingtonia tree is a fine specimen! It has a name plaque which reads:
'Syresham Jubilee Tree 1897-1997'.
It is enclosed in a small fence and can be found at the junction of Main Road and Abbey Road. These details are available thanks to Keith McLean who is Chairman of the Syresham & District History Society.
