There are two bridges that connect the island of New Providence to Paradise Island which is home to the Atlantis Hotel. The first was built in 1966 by Resorts International, and the second in the late 1990s. They now are one way bridges, one goes for northbound traffic and the other for southbound. The bridges are 1/2 mile across Nassau Harbour. You can walk across this bridge to see the Nassau Harbour. It is also a great place to view the cruise ships in port.
