Masna Luka Monastery in Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in Blidinje Nature Park. It is a new monastery, still partial under construction.

To reach it you will need to follow a gravel road, which changes into a hard surface close to the monastery. The monastery is a Franciscan monastery located at a height of 1200 meters. The artistically decorated church of st. Elias is part of the monastery.
Near the monastery you will find at several locations old stecci, monumental medieval tombstones that lie scattered across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Unfortunately there is only very little information to find on the monastery.
Driving directions from Split (HR)- 2 hrs:
Going through Tomislavgrad in BiH. When passing Tomislavgrad take the road towards Blidinje. At Blidinje Jerizo take a left turn. After 4.7km take a right turn and follow the road to the monastery. Note that several roads don't have a hard surface but are gravel roads.
Driving directions from Sarajevo (BiH)- 2.5hrs:
go down the main road towards Mostar. At the stoplight in Jablanica, make a right hand turn. At the next stop light (a “T” intersection), make a right turn, staying on the main road towards Prozor. Take the next possible left hand turn (unmarked as of August 2010). 100 meters up the road you will see a school on your right. At the top of the short hill, bear right, staying on the main road. (In Jablanica, if you cross the bridge at the edge of town, you’ve gone too far!) Keep driving up and up through a beautiful valley flanked in places by sheer cliffs and, at one point, a picture perfect climbing rock. The road is paved all the way up except for the final 4 kilometers before you reach the park but even that is a good road. Once you pass through the Park Gate (no guard and no entrance fee), the road is paved again. Continue the road around the lake. Take a right turn a few kilometers after gettin unpaved again and follow the road to the monastery.
