Although the 1888 Chicago-Milwaukee-St. Paul Railroad Depot no longer serves the historic railroad, it maintains the important task of preserving the heritage of this community. Located just off the main thoroughfare, tourists are invited to learn about the agricultural, resort and industrial years and how the railroad contributed to each of them. Other exhibits include historical artifacts, native art, and a wonderfully preserved covered wagon which sits on the front lawn. The depot museum is open during the tourist season and admission is free.
