The round shape of this barn quilt makes it unique but lends itself well to the sunflower design. The bright shades of yellow give a warm radiance on the front of this beautiful red storage barn and gives the farm a welcoming appearance. The barn is on the north side of Hwy. 18 a few miles west of Hartley, and the quilt faces south for easy viewing.
Your Visit:
We were heading west on Hwy. 18 after a wonderful day waymarking at the Iowa Great Lakes. Always on the lookout for barn quilts, I spotted several on this main route.
