Although there is no cornerstone for this building, it is ultra modern and looks like it was built in the last fifteen years or so. Parking for the police station is in the rear with a dedicate entrance. Patrol cars are parked in a secured gated area.

The Burlington Township Police Department recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. This is one of the few, if any, local police departments who not only have their own web site, but also offer a comprehensive history of their department which can be found HERE

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
