Dedicated in memory of Jake Thomas Eby.
June 16, 1997- January 27, 2000
This play lot is dedicated to a special little boy named Jake, whose kind and loving spirit touched the hearts of all who knew him. This park stands as a celebration of Jake's life and is a place where young children and their families can come to play together, enjoying and appreciating the wonders of childhood.
Jake was a gentle child who embrace life with energy, passion, and joy. He loved to spend his days playing hockey, splashing in the water, exploring parks, and enjoying his friends. Jake cherishes family, friends, and teachers who filled his life with love. His bright spirit lives on, reminding us that each day with our children is a precious gift to be treasured.
This park was made possible through the efforts of the Jake Thomas Eby Memorial fund and the city of San Jose. Jake's fund is part of Las Madres neighborhood playgroups, an organization that brings young children and their families together, promoting support, education and play.
