I've seen ugly water towers, but I think this takes the prize.

North of Route 66, where it turns east on the northeast side of Chandler, we spotted this skinny little, weather-worn water tower, probably no longer in use.
Water towers come in all shapes and sizes, and I guess when you're thirsty, you're glad to have one, no matter what it looks like. This appears to have been painted silver at one time, but it is now a combination of washed out silver and the rust-colored metal beneath.
So we place it here with its own waymark listing, in honor of the years it served the folks in Chandler. Come by and wish it well.
