WW II Vets - Deming, NM - World War II Memorials / Monuments on Waymarking.com

This memorial is located in Veterans Park which adjacent to, and just south of, the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum in the 300 block of South Silver Avenue. The park is quite small, making all of it visible from the side walk. This World War II memorial is on the right side of the park, surrounded by grass, and between the Pearl Harbor memorial and the sidewalk. There is on street parking immediately in front of the memorial.

The monument is small gray granite block inscribed on the face. The words of the inscription surround a flag of our country. Inscribed on the monument is the following:
