The chairlift Carmenna is located in the center of the skiing area of Arosa. It look like it is seasonal, only in winter for skiing and snowboarding (The operator's web site is a bit confusing regarding summer activities). It is a detachable chairlift with 4 seats each chair.
It was built in 2000 and replaced a platter lift from 1938. In 2010 it was awarded the "SwissMountain Award" in the category architecture.
