USACE LB12-1 1989 Alsuma Soccer Park - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

A standard survey disk placed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, near NW corner of Alsuma Soccer Park, about 0.26 miles north of the intersection of 51st & S Mingo in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The disk is approx. flush with or slightly below ground level. To reach the disk from 51st & Mingo, travel north on Mingo Rd about 0.34 miles to 47th Place and turn right. Travel about 400 ft and turn right on S 98th E Ave. Travel about 300 ft, turn right, and park in the lot of the strip shopping center. The mark is located roughly 20-30 ft (not measured) south of the edge of the pavement, about 1 ft east of a witness post. The mark was completely covered with grass when I visited 1/28/2011. The sign on the witness post is badly damaged and faded.
