Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in Culver City, California is the grave site of musician, actor, and entertainer Al Jolson. There is a large and beautiful memorial to the singer that Zippy visited.

At the top of a five-tiered waterfall on a green grassy hillside is the spectacular tomb of Al Jolson. It rests under a dome supported by six stone columns. This monument was designed by architect Paul R. Williams. The under side of the dome is a mosaic depicting a bearded Moses in the clouds, holding the ten commandments" Around the dome are written two phrases describing Al Jolson, “The Sweet Singer of Israel” and “The Man Raised Up High”

Just outside the dome is 3/4 size bronze statue of Al Jolson on one knee. Zippy stopped by the statue and conversed with it in April of 2010.
