The Cedar Lake School is located on County Road "E" about a half mile from the Waupaca/Waushara Couny line. It is not known when the school building was built, but the first record of the school was at the Joint District #12 Town of Lind meeting with a report of 37 pupils enrolled in the school. The school was closed in 1961.
