OLD CITY WELL
This artesian well was drilled in 1880. It provided an unlimited supply of puire water and became a gathering place for Camilla's citzens. When a water system was installed, the City Well lost it's usefulness. Through the efforts of the Cherokee Garden Club and the County Commissioners the well was restored in 1963.
